  • I am based out of Hawaii and serve Oahu and all the outer islands.

  • After consultation, I will provide you a link to your client portal, using Simple Practice, a HIPPA compliant platform. HIPPA compliance ensures privacy and data security to protect confidential information. You will be able to complete all required intake documents and consents prior to scheduling your initial session. You will receive a link and reminders for your session. Sessions will be virtual.

  • At this time, sessions are virtual only.

  • I currently accept Cigna, Aetna, Tricare, HMSA and private pay. I recommend you to call your insurance provider to confirm coverage. Private pay is $180-$200/hr.

  • Your initial appointment focuses on rapport building, gathering additional information and history, and developing goals to work towards in therapy.

  • Duration of therapy varies from person to person and depends on various factors including:

    -Specific concerns

    -Goals

    -Commitment and progress

    -External factors such as finances, insurance, and time constraints

    -Therapist recommendations

    I typically work with clients anywhere between 9-12 months, sometimes longer, sometimes shorter. Again it depends on the factors mentioned above. Here is a general timeline: It can take a month or so to develop a rapport, which is the important foundation of therapy. Then we reach the working stages of therapy, which can be around 6-9 months. Then transitioning out of therapy can take another month or so.
